Continuous ball mill is a type of grinder used to grind materials into an extremely fine powder mainly for use in the mineral processing industry. Ball Mills can grind various ores and other materials either wet or dry, depending on requirements.
(1) Soft materials: calcite, marble, limestone, calcium carbonate, kaolin, clay, bentonite, bauxite, gypsum, barite, gold ore, coal ash and slag.
(2) Hard materials: carborundum, brown corundum, superfine cement, phosphate rock, copper ore, iron ore, zirconium sand, and fire-proof materials.
(3) High purity materials: silica sand, quartz, feldspar, α-alumina, glass fine bead.
(4) Metal powders: zinc powder, aluminum powder, iron powder, and molybdenum powder.
(5) Continuous feed and discharge with open/closed circuit grinding, delivering micron-level fineness from feed below 25 mm.
(6) Liner and grinding media (steel, ceramic, alumina) precisely matched to each material class for maximum wear life.
(7) Closed-loop air system with dust collection; inert gas option for reactive metal powders; throughput from lab to industrial scale.
1.Continuous ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber.
2.The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials into fine powder over a period of several hours. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.
